I've been very lazy in not updating my blog (as i expected) i have been busy however and will try and add more stuff to my site when time permits.
I have made plans to visit iceland in april for some landscape photography, also a possible trip to either ireland or a return to germany early in 2016 so lots to look forward to.
I hope evryone is well and you all have a great christmas and new year.
I recently returned from a trip to europe, flying to munich picking up a car and ravelling north via france and luxembourg with 2 good friends, the main purpose was to see if we could get onto the site of a huge steelworks - stahlwerk m, well it couldn't have turned out better, it proved fairly easy to find a way in despite some demo crew and others being onsite.
An amazing place, and been as i love exploring old industrial places, it was a pleasure to spend over 6 hours looking around this place, have a look in the euro pages for what is just a glimpse of what's there, i took a couple of hundred images !
We also saw a couple of nice power stations, got stuck in a mine in germany whilst police dog training was taking place, plus some other sweet industry, i've lots of images i'll start adding as i go along.
A massive thANKS TO THOSE WHO CAME TO ARTISM GALLERY TODAY AND BOUGHT PRINTS,IT WAS NICE TO MEET YOU AND I'M VERY GRATEFUL AND TOUCHED YOU LIKE THEM, I LOOK FORWARD TO DELIVERING THEM PERSONALLY.
Leaving for a trip to Europe tomorrow with sam and martin for some exploring and photography, Germany, a little bit of France and Luxembourg thrown in, should be good and just coincides with Oktoberfest 2015 and as we are in munich it would be rude not to indulge.
Hopefully plenty of big German industry, steel works, power and rust turbines !
I have an exhibition of prints at artism gallery on stockport marketplace, starting on september 14th for around 3 weeks.
it's a new gallery in a historic part of stockport old town which is becoming more popular all the time.
As well as exhibitions, the owner brin morris supports the work of artists on the autistic spectrum.
pop down and have a look if you're around stockport in the coming weeks.
so another sinkhole opens up in central Manchester, is the whole city going to collapse ? some would say that might not be a bad thing, but not me, just glad I don't have to drive that way for work !
#transferdeadlineday what an anti-climax as per usual, but i still sit and watch it hoping my team liverpool might just sign someone remotely exciting, not gonna happen is it !
Had a great night with the Mrs, stockport old town marketplace, last friday of the month is foodie friday, big crowd tonight, nice vibe, some great food and drinks, events on all weekend, vintage shops etc
Ok welcome to the blog on my new website, after letting my last one lapse due to lack of interest and a severe case of cba, i thought i would have another go, i generally enjoy the exploring and photography, then the editing can become a chore, posting stuff to a website then becomes even more of a chore up to the point i get so far behind i can't be bothered to commit the time to catch up, hopefully this time i'll keep on top of it.
